Karl Mok, our Communications and Marketing Manager, has over 9 years of experience in the design and construction industry. He has worked as an architectural and interior designer for studios and non-governmental organizations in the UK and Malaysia. With a creative background and strategic approach to communications and marketing, he is committed to exceptional brand positioning in today’s digitized landscape.

Karl’s entrepreneurial drive is exemplified by his founding of Friends Studio, an architectural start-up. Friends Studio was recognised as one of 15 enterprises in 2019 to receive start-up sponsorship from Newcastle University’s Foundership scheme. Just a few clients he has worked with are the BBC, Snapchat, and English Heritage. Furthermore, Karl played an early role in establishing the architectural internship program at InvestIn Education, contributing to its expansion across more than 100 countries.
